Successful America trip for SEGC’s Artistic group, and Sophie Goodman trains with England squad

A GROUP from South Essex had a successful trip to a summer camp at a famous gymnastics venue in America in early June.

Some of the club’s first and second squads along with pre-dev girls visited the Great American Gymnastics Express (known also as GAGE Center) in Blue Springs, Missouri, which has been home to many Olympic, World and American team members and medallists.

SEGC Head of Women’s Artistic, Ross Falsetta, said: “Not only was this a fantastic opportunity that every girl took full advantage of – but they were also amazing ambassadors for the club.”
