SOUTH ESSEX’S rhythmic team went on a memorable trip to Serbia and came home with eight medals.
A group of 20 gymnasts and their coaches competed in the Trophy of Novi Sad in the city of Novi Sad between March 25-26.
Rebecca Bunce, SEGC’s assistant head of women’s artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, said: “We set off on Friday afternoon and arrived back Monday afternoon.
“This was the first international competition for 12 of our gymnasts and won many medals and had a wonderful time.”
