Rebecca Wright wins bronze at national grades final

REBECCA WRIGHT shone for South Essex with a bronze medal in the ribbon at the National Grade Finals on Saturday (June 21).

Rebecca scored 9.050 to take her place on the podium and also finished sixth overall in the Grade 9 section at the Walsall Sports Centre.

Rebecca’s club-mates Kiera Miller and Chanelle Ellis also took part in the Grade 9 category. Kiera finished 11th overall and Chanelle 19th.

And in the Grade 8 section, South Essex’s Kiera Martinson performed well to take seventh place overall.

SEGC’s rhythmic head coach Verity Adams said: “We all had a great day at a massive competition. I’m proud of all of the girls, who really did shine.”
