VERITY ADAMS says Rachel Lattimer has seen a “dream come true” after being selected for England at an international event.
The SEGC Rhythmic starlet has been picked to represent her country at the International Vitry Cup in Spain between June 26-30.
It caps a great start to 2019 for Rachel (pictured), who became the club’s first gymnast in 15 years to be selected for the English squad in February.
SEGC Head of Rhythmic Verity, who coaches Rachel, said: “She has worked so hard to get into the English squad and finally make the British Championships.
“This news about going to Spain is the icing on the cake and so well deserved.
“Rachel is so committed to the sport and for her it is a dream come true to be selected to compete for her home nation.
“I am beyond proud of her hard work and commitment and am so excited to see her compete in Spain.”
