ISOBEL CONNAH has realised some of her huge potential by securing her place alongside 15 other South Essex gymnasts at this year’s Rhythmic British Championships.
The South Essex gymnast, who is coached by Danielle Paul, will compete in the Under-9 section at Liverpool’s Echo Arena between July 27-30.
SEGC’s Head of Rhythmic Gymnastics Verity Adams said: “This is a massive achievement for Isobel.
“She has always shown the potential and she secured here place at the British Championships with at British Qualification Testing and with her results at the National Grades.”
South Essex’s Josslyn Miller will also compete for individual honours in the Under-10 section at the annual national event in Liverpool.
And SEGC’s team of Connie Miller, Jade Woollard, Lucy Imamzade, Drew Castle, Zoe Broadbent and Zoe Harrison with compete in the Junior category.
At Espoir level, South Essex will be represented by the Purple team of Emily Hardy, Louise Imamzade, Rachel Lattimer and Josslyn Miller, and the Blue team of Francesca Foster, Isla Sewell-Moore, Alicia Barnes and Louisa Duff.
Isobel Connah, Josslyn Miller, Rachle Lattimer and Jade Woollard have also booked their places at the Rhythimc English Championships at The GMAC, Birmingham, on Sunday, July 3.
