SOUTH ESSEX sent six rhythmic girls to the Wigan Open – and they brought home eight medals.
Isla Sewell-Moore, Emily Hardy, Milana Bernans, Neve Turvey, Rachel Lattimer and Jade Woollard all impressed at an invitational at a Wigan-based leisure centre on April 29.
They competed against girls who had travelled from London and the Midlands to take part in an open event which was staged alongside a regional competition.
The SEGC rhythmic girls will next be in action at a Level 1, 2 and 3 competition in Northampton on Saturday, May 20.
