SOUTH ESSEX won three gold medals on the second day of the Elite Open Canterbury Cup.

Louisa Duff, Alicia Barnes and Isla Sewell-Moore came first in the Free Trio, and Louise Imamzade, Josslyn Miller and Francesca Foster were runners-up.

Josslyn Miller and Louise Imamzade won the Hoop Duet, while Alicia Barnes and Isla Sewell-Moore took silver in the Ball Duet.

And Kiera Martinson, Keira Miller and Rebecca Wright were champions in the Junior Trio, with Connie Miller and Jade Woollard fifth in the Ball Duet.

Verity Adams, head coach for Rhythmic gymnastics at SEGC, said: “It was another fantastic day and we are a very happy coaching team.”
