Three golds in Ipswich

SOUTH ESSEX girls won three golds as part of a 13-medal haul at the Eastern Counties Recreational Apparatus finals in Ipswich.

The girls all had to come in the top three at county-level qualification and they did themselves proud at the finals at the Pipers Vale club.

In the 8-9 age group, Phoebe Allen won the silver medal and on beam Ellie Dorman won gold.

Kristi Mia Walker was the champion on the floor, Rachel Latimer added a bronze medal on beam, while Francesca White, Isabel Dowson, Tallulah Brown, Ruby Rose Carr, and Olivia Woods also impressed.

In the 10-11 age group, Annabelle Baker got vault silver and on bars Catlin Collins won the gold and Francesca Taiani the bronze.

On beam, Jasmine Carr got the silver and Annabelle Baker the bronze medal on beam too, with Isabelle Ebsworth also in action.

In the 12-15 age group, Anna Kisil won the silver medal on bars and Bethan Turvey the bronze.

Also competing in this age group was Mia Brien, Lauren Hill, Maisy Cockerill, Jodie Scales, and Cleo Edgell.

And in the 16-19 age group, Elizabeth Bradley won the silver medal on bars and also the bronze medal on floor.
