Medals for all nine SEGC girls at regional comp in Ipswich

ALL nine South Essex girls at the East Regional Voluntary Levels 5-2 & FIG Competition in Ipswich won at least one medal.

Gracie Reed was second overall at Level 5 with a total score of 50.150 and also won the beam and a bronze on vault.

Scarlett Edge claimed silver on the floor and Tia Basi took silver on bars at the competition in late September.

At Level 4, Sienna Goodwin had an impressive day, winning the gold medal overall with a score of 51.000 and golds on bars, beam and floor, and a bronze the vault.

Ellie Petroiu won Level 3 gold overall with a score of 51.550 and took gold on beam and silver on bars and vault.

Paige Moroney came second overall (50.700) to her team mate and took home gold medals on bars and floor too.

Violet Manser finished third overall (49.500) and picked up a beam bronze.

In the Level 2 competition, Ellie Gargett placed second overall (50.300) and was first on vault and beam and third on the floor.

And in the FIG Junior Competition, Sophie Goodman took home two silver medals – one on the bars and one on the floor.
