Isobel Connah shows huge potential at Rose Cup

SOUTH ESSEX’S Isobel Connah got the Gymnast With The Most Potential award at the ninth annual Rose Cup.

The eight-year-old, who has been a rhythmic gymnast for three years and is coached by Danielle Paul, earned the recognition at the event at Nene Valley Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Northamptonshire.

South Essex’s head rhythmic coach Verity Adams said: “It came from a Brevet-standard judging panel so that is some recognition.

“It means that an expert so the potential in her to perhaps compete at national or even international level one day.

“She was excited to get the award because she is very competitive and always wants to win.”
