Hayden’s fifth at British Championships

SOUTH ESSEX’S Hayden Skinner underlined his potential with a fifth placed finish at the Under-14s British Championships in Glasgow.

Hayden’s overall mark of 75.050 meant he was just over half a mark off a bronze medal at the prestigious event at the Emirates Arena.

Club mate Douglas Turnball also acquitted himself very well for a 25th place finish with an overall score of 67.750.

In the Under-12 section, South Essex’s Nathan Adams was 33rd (65.000) and Joseph Sawyer two places further back with 64.300.
