Dear Parents / Guardians, RE: CHANGE OF GYMSCHOOL TIMES FROM THE 12TH NOVEMBER 2012

We are writing to you with regards to your child’s Gymschool sessions. As some of you may have seen we have been looking at some changes to help improve the Gymschool sessions so that we can provide a better service to the children that attend. We are always trying to improve the system and will continue to do so. I am sure that most of you will agree that the gym is becoming increasingly busy as demands increase. We are conscious that at times this does not allow us to provide the service we want to, especially when some of the children that attend are so young. We are in the fortunate position that we have two gyms. The second gym was designed specifically for these classes, and during the Olympic Games we received excellent feedback from coaches and parents when the Gymschool used this gym to do their classes. What we have decided to do is give the Gymschool children their own ‘exclusive’ gym for their sessions, and change the times from 4pm – 5pm and 4.45pm – 5.45pm to 4pm – 5pm and 5pm – 6pm. The main benefits of this will be:

  • The change of times will alleviate the number of people in the gym at any one time AND the amount of parents in the waiting area.
  • The children will have their own gym so will not have to share with older children and adults training
  • The safety of the children is paramount and this will create a safer environment
  • The coaching delivered will improve
  • Parents will be able to see their children participating easier
  • Younger children will not find it so ‘intimidating’ when they start
  • The classes will be much easier to run therefore a better service will be provided

From the 12th November Gymschool classes that run from 4.45pm – 5.45pm will change to 5pm – 6pm. All Gymschool classes will move to gym 2. ALL other groups will move to gym 1.

We apologise for any inconvenience the change of times may cause, but we are confident that this change will help us provide a better service to you and the children we teach.

Many thanks,

SUMMER DISPLAY

Saturday 3rd November 2012
We held a pre-school display.
This was a great family day with Parents, Guardians and Grandparents able to come inside the gym, watch some of the movements and skills their children have learnt in the pre-school sessions.

12th/13th June 2010

The weekend will consist of displays from all of our pre-school and gymschool gymnasts along with some displays from our squad gymnasts.

The weekend was a great success and we hope that all the spectators and participating gymnasts had a wonderful time at our summer display.

A special thank you to all of the coaches who gave up their free time to come and help out.
