What is Pre-School Gymnastics?
Pre-School Gymnastics are structured gymnastic sessions designed for children aged 2 – 4 years (depending on suitability) to help develop a confident and well coordinated youngster. Gymnasts work in small groups under the direction of a coach.
Children in this class experience jumping, swinging and balancing activities in order to improve overall co-ordination, spatial awareness and basic motor skills.
The children work in a safe and stimulating environment which utilises a vast range of equipment and soft play.
One hour classes are held:
Monday – Thursday 11.00 – 12.00 / 12.30 – 1.30 / 1.30 – 2.30
Friday 11.00 – 12.00 / 12.00 – 1.00
(£83.85 for a thirteen week course, payable at £27.95 a month)
You can pay £6.45 for the first class to ‘try out’ before making a commitment.

As a coach Jamie-Leigh has coached a gymnast to win every county club voluntary level for 3 years. Some of her other proudest moments as a coach have been when she completed her training for level 4 coach and when she was given an elite group in 2009.

Verity was part of the Basildon Gymnastics Club that joined other clubs to found SEGC in 1992. As a gymnast Verity was part of the display team that performed in the Royal Albert Hall for the International Year of Youth and she competed at National level in rhythmic gymnastics. As a coach, her proudest moments have been the expansion of SEGC’s rhythmic participants from 10 to over 60. She has coached over 20 gymnasts to compete at national and international events and has had two gymnasts selected for the GB squad. -

Sarah joined SEGC in 2000. As a gymnast Sarah competed in a competition at Heathrow Gymnastics Club where the team finished 1st and Sarah was ranked 1st in the team. As a coach she has taught gymnasts to win county and regional medals. -

- BSC Sportscoaching & PE 2:1Emma joined the club in 2002. Emma as a gymnast was very successful and some of her proudest moments have been when she won team gold at the Youth Commonwealth Games in 2004, when she was in National Squad for 4 years and when she competed for Great Britain. As a coach Emma has taught gymnasts to reach county level and perform well at competitions.
