What is Advanced Gymschool Gymnastics?

For gymnasts who have previous experience or are keen to make more progress we have a selection of two hour classes:

  • Saturday 9 – 11 (Girls) Two hour session for girls aged 7 years and over
  • Sunday 9 – 11 (Girls) Two hour session for girls aged between 6 and 10 years old
  • Thursday 4 – 6 (Girls) Two hour session for girls aged 7 years and over
  • Thursday 6 – 8 (Girls) Two hour session for girls aged 7 years and over
  • Monday 4 – 6 (Boys) Two hour session for boys aged between 7 and 11 years old
  • Wednesday 6 – 8 (Boys) Two hour session for boys aged between 7 and 11 years old
  • Saturday 1.30 – 3.30 (Boys) Two hour session for boys aged between 9 and 11 years old
  • Saturday 2.00 – 4.00 (Boys) Two hour session for boys aged 12 years and over
  • Sunday 9 – 11 (Boys) Two hour session for boys

      Kayleigh joined SEGC in 1994. As a gymnast Kayleigh was the Regional Level 4 overall and vault champion in 1998. As a coach Kayleigh has had gymnasts finish 1st and 2nd at County Club grade 14 in 2010. She has also had gymnasts make regional finals and have one of her gymnasts score the highest in Range and Conditioning.

      Paula joined the club in 2005. Paula has organised a summer fete which raised thousands of pounds and she is proud that she has developed her character so that she is approachable from anybody. She is also very proud to be very supportive of her son’s gymnastics and is proud of all of his achievements.

      Tracey joined the club in 2002. As a gymnast Tracey continued to train and compete for over 5 years. As a coach Tracey coached gymnasts to reach National finals and reach county and regional squads.

      Rebecca joined SEGC in 2006. As a gymnast won of her proudest moments have been when she won a pair’s competition in 2010 as she had to compete with no falls in order to win. As a coach she is proud to make gymnastics more fun for the children.

      Brendan joined the gym in 1996 and his proudest moment as a gymnast was when he successfully landed a double back on the floor. He proudest moment as a coach was when he taught gymnasts who performed and finished well at a local competition.

      Dave joined the club in 1993. As a gymnast he trained for over 10 years and he competed at National level. As a coach Dave has taught a gymnast who was crowd National Champion.

      Frances joined the club in 2000. As a gymnast Frances was team captain for Essex at the Inter Regional Championships and she competed at the Challenge Cup in 2007. As a coach Frances is very proud to assist with the development of elite gymnasts.

      Lauren joined the club in 1998. As a gymnast Lauren was county voluntary champion 3 years in a row. As a coach she is proud to see the improvement that her gymnasts have made in their gymnastic skills.
