SIENNA GOODWIN has been called up to represent Great Britain at a prestigious training camp for young European gymnasts.
She will get the chance to develop her skills at the Union of European Gymnastics event in Tirrenia, Pisa, in Italy, in July.
It is a meeting for coaches to share ideas and for young gymnasts to sample the atmosphere of performing in an international arena.
Sienna was selected after she was crowned overall Compulsory Level 3 champion at the national finals in May.
She follows in the footsteps of Ellie Petroiu, who went on the same trip last year after also becoming a British champion.
Coach Leah Hickton said: “I’m so proud to have a second gymnast selected for this prestigious trip, especially two years in a row.
“It is fully deserved for Sienna, who has worked so hard, and I am sure she will enjoy it and learn so much from the experience.”
