Falsetta praises Goodwin’s win in Stoke

SEGC’S Women’s Artistic Head Coach Ross Falsetta was delighted to see Sienna Goodwin crowned Compulsory Level 3 overall champion in Stoke.

The ten-year-old, who is coached by Leah Hickton, scored 64.7000 to take the gold in a field of 45 at the event at Fenton Manor on the weekend of April 29-30.

Sienna (pictured above) was also part of the bronze-medal winning East Region team.

Falsetta said: “Sienna is a national squad member so she has a lot of potential.

“This means she’s in a strong position for the overall Combined champion title, which will be determined by this result added to her Voluntary Level 3 result at the end of the year.”

In the Compulsory Level 2 competition in Stoke, SEGC’s Violet Manser and Paige Moroney both passed with brilliant scores.

Those results will enable them to move up to Compulsory Level 1 next year.

And in the Compulsory Level 1 section, Ellie Gargett passed with flying colours and has now qualified to compete in the British Championships later this season.
