SEGC has started taking bookings for its popular summer holiday Fun Sessions in 2017 – and spaces are filling up fast.
The programme is aimed at younger school-age children and activities will take place in the club’s smaller gym at the Basildon Sporting Village between Monday, July 24 and Friday, September 1 (days, times and costs are set out in the table below).
|10am – 12pm||1pm – 4pm||10am – 4pm|
The sessions are predominantly for children aged over five, although those four-and-over can attend the 10am to 12pm slot on Fridays.
There is no upper age limit, although the club has found groups are usually made up of primary school pupils.
Parents should note that children will only be permitted if their place has been booked and paid for in advance. The maximum capacity over the day is 50 and early booking is advised.
Those staying for the 10am to 4pm session will need a packed lunch, and children must bring plenty to drink for any session.
Administration Manager Natasha Poulter said: “These sessions involve our club coaches overseeing games and gymnastic free play on our state-of-the-art equipment.
“They always prove very popular so we anticipate that places will fill up fast ahead of schools breaking up for the summer break.”
