Friends of

South Essex Gymnastics Club

The 'Friends of SEGC' was formed by parents to support the club with fund raising events. During December 2006 a small group of enthusiasts organised a Christmas Bazaar with the aim of replacing the broken television in the reception area. Although the event was the first of its kind for SEGC it raised £604.16.

The Friends of SEGC also organised a Christmas Party for gymnasts and their families. This event was supported by a generous donation from Integrity Wills. The party was a great success complete with  a DJ, Magician and fantastic buffet organised by parent helpers. The Christmas event raised a further £679.06.

In September 2007 the group raised £1000 + towards a new video camera system with instant playback for the gym.
