South Essex’s rising star will make his senior debut on the international stage alongside Great Britain team-mates Nile Wilson and Frank Baines at the new multi-sport event in Azerbaijan between June 12-28.
And Brinn, 17, honed his skills at May’s World Challenge Cup in Andaia, Portugal, where he made the pommel final and came sixth with a score of 13.775.
The all-around English champion actually qualified first with a score of 15.100 but a slip in the final cost him a higher finish.
Brinn has continued his preparations at the national centre in Lilleshall and South Essex coach Jeff Davis says he is ready to impress at the European Games.
Jeff said: “It is his first year as a senior and he is progressing well.
“The event in Portugal was a good warm-up for Baku and if Brinn does well there it will help his prospects for the World Championships in Glasgow this winter.”
