Saturday 4th Decemeber, South Essex Gymnastics Club will be hosting their 2nd GYMNANZA. Tickets are on sale and cost £6 per adult and £3 per child. There will be two shows which will be themed to Christmas and the 70′s.
The first show will be from 1pm to 3.30pm and is the Christmas Theme. The second show will be from 5pm to 8pm and is the 70′s Theme. If you are unsure on what show your child is in then please speak to your child’s coach.
Your child needs to be here at least 30 mins before their display.
Programmes will be for sale on the day costing 50 pence each and you can also take photographs and videos for a charge of £1. Drinks and sweets will also be available to purchase during the interval.

Special well done to Danny Lawrence, Reiss Beckford and Max Whitlock who have all been selected to be part of the English Men’s Artistic Team at the coming Commonwealth Games in Delhi. The games will begin in October and much will be shown on BBC so don’t forget to watch.
Scott Hann has also been selected to attend as the head of delegation.
Danny has been selected to be the team captain as he can use his years of experience to help the young team produce great routines and hopefully medals.

There will be over 200 gymnasts competing at our gymschool SEGC Challenge over the weekend of the 18th and 19th of September. This competition is for all of the gymnasts who attend a one hour class during the week.
There are 3 competitions on the Saturday: 12-2pm, 2-4pm and 4-6pm
There are 2 competitions on the Sunday: 12-2pm and 2-4pm.
If you have entered your child and not received a letter to say which time your child is then call the gym on 01268 270615 to confirm the time.
All spectators are welcome, costs are:
£3 per Adult
£2 per Child
£1 per Programme
All of our rhythmic classes will be performing displays from 13:15 on the Sunday with the squad gymnasts competing in an individual competition at the end of the day.

Sponsor one of our gymnasts (Georgie Ellis) who will be hiking from St Bees Head on the Irish Sea across the Lake District and the Yorkshire Moors, to Robin Hood’s Bay on east coast along with his Grandfather and father. They will walk for approximately 19miles over rugged terrain PER DAY. It will take them approximately 10 days to cover width of the northern part of the country totalling 192miles.
All sponsorship will go towards South Essex Gymnastics Club.
